The Web Wise Guys was founded in Vero Beach, Florida, in 2009 with a simple idea: help small businesses make better use of the internet.
A lot has changed since then. Websites have changed. Google has changed. The way people search has changed. And now artificial intelligence is changing search again.
Our philosophy hasn’t changed nearly as much.
We believe in understanding a business, looking carefully at what it already has, identifying what can be improved, and doing useful work that makes sense for that particular client.
We don’t believe every business needs the same website or the same SEO program.
Sometimes a website needs to be rebuilt. Sometimes it doesn’t.
Sometimes the biggest opportunity is better content. Other times it may be website structure, local search optimization, technical problems, missing service pages, or dozens of smaller improvements that collectively improve the website.
Our job is to figure out what needs attention and work on it.
We’ve been doing this long enough to know that digital marketing never stands still.
Today, artificial intelligence is changing both how SEO work is performed and how people find information online.
We use AI in our own work to improve the depth and efficiency of research, analysis, content development, and other aspects of SEO. We also consider how AI systems interpret website information when we develop and optimize websites.
The objective is straightforward: create clear, useful, well-organized websites that help people, search engines, and AI systems understand who a business is, what it does, and where it does it.
We don’t control Google. We don’t control search rankings. And we don’t control which businesses an AI system chooses to reference or recommend.
So we don’t promise that we do.
What we can do is bring our experience to the work, pay attention to what is happening, identify opportunities for improvement, and continue making the website and its search presence better.
We’re a small business too.
That influences how we work with our clients. We value straightforward conversations, long-term relationships, and practical solutions. We don’t want to sell clients services they don’t need simply because they’re part of a package.
